#3 Shop is a 33.3% structurally sound cuttings grade.
#3 Shop is an economy grade that is used in all kinds of applications from upholstered furniture to small component parts. Boards are selected for shorter structurally sound cutting that maximize the raw materials value. #3 Shop is also well suited for finger jointed panels and specialty items.
