One offering many of our customers are not familiar with is our line of Circle Sawn products. Designed to mimic the circle-sawn look of beams and paneling made a hundred or more years ago, circle-sawn can make v-joint or nickel-gap paneling, interior doors, and even kitchen cabinets, and give them a unique look that is appealing to many customers. If you have a customer who is chasing a western or cowboy motif, this product is one that will set your offerings heads above standard.

We developed our circle-sawn line in collaboration with a manufacturing partner located next to our Chehalis mill. It took several years to develop a look that was not evenly repetitive to have that old sawmill look.

We have 4/4 random circle sawn, ready to ship. Circle sawn can be added to width sorts or thicker stock with a few weeks notice. At last week’s NHLA meeting in San Antonio, we showcased both nickel-gap and V-joint samples in our booth, and buyers showed a ton of interest. We will also have samples at the upcoming National Building Material Dealers Association (NBMDA), coming up Nov-4 through 6 in Chicago. There will be some aged samples as well that illustrate a few possibilities for our Circle Sawn products.

The possibilities are endless for circle sawn. It will bring interest and depth to vaulted ceilings. Bars and islands can carry a distinctive look than plain base cabinets. Nickel-gap insert panels in two panel interior doors where the stiles and rails are circle sawn would look stunning.
